10 Things I Love Sunday 2019

Hi friends! I am LOVING this season. The weather in Nashville just finally started to cool down and we’re having a sweater day here and there— it’s so nice. I’m soaking in my favorite season!

My spooky manicure is by Claire at Poppy & Monroe (my favorite nail salon in Nashville!)

Here are ten things I am currently loving!

1. Building a secondhand capsule wardrobe for fall. Love this!

2. I got this dress as a gift from Ban.do and WOW- best dress ever! I have worn it probably five times in the past two weeks. I just keep reaching for it. It’s flattering, easy, and it comes in size XS to 3X. (I’m wearing it above you can barely tell, though)

3. A cozy sweater for fall.

4. We’re currently watching Succession and wow— it’s so good!

5. I picked these up for Nova just in case we get to go to Disney soon (fingers crossed).

6. I’ve been trying a little new makeup lately and this eyeshadow palette is new number ONE. It’s so good. It comes in warm nude and cool nude (I use warm).

7. Ok… I’m still going strong on my used shopping resolution. I’m so glad I’m doing it…. but I still like to window shop. (isn’t it cute??!)

8. Creative ways to display your books.

9. Loving Yum Yucky Yuck for both our girls.

10. I’m feeling the itch to learn to cook some new dishes. I’d love to hear your favorite dishes and/or cookbooks! I think I’m gonna grab this book andddd this one too. Please let me know your tried and true favorite dishes!

ps. In case you missed it, our farmhouse table DIY is up and it’s the most beautiful table I have ever owned. :))

Wishing you a beautiful weekend! xx. Elsie

25 Racing Car Beds For Children Rooms

Kids love racing cars and it’s not that difficult to understand why. They’re fast, flashy, colorful, noisy and pretty cool plus we now have a bunch of animations that basically revived the trend in a big way. With that in mind, you have to admit that having a racing car bed is pretty awesome, especially as a kid. You don’t have to be a Nascar fan to see it. View in gallery Most racing car beds manage to combine a fun design with a safe structure Racing car beds are usually small and designed just for children. They feature bold and vibrant colors that make them stand out and make the children like them even more. Red and blue are very common colors for such pieces. They also usually have numbers on them and those checkerboard patterns on the sides. Building a racing car bed is actually a very interesting concept. It’s a two-in-one piece. The Wonderful Influence Of Corten Steel In Architecture

Weathering steel often referred to as corten steel, is a group of alloys developed to have a rust-like appearance, as if they’ve been exposed to the weather and the elements for several years. This eliminates the need for painting and makes this a very convenient material. At the same time, its appearance has an industrial vibe which many architects have learned to take advantage of in all sorts of ingenious and interesting ways.  Through the examples that follow we’re going to approach the unique relationship between corten steel and architecture. Let’s have a look at them together. It was meant to be a retreat, a place where the owners could unplug from their busy lives and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the natural surroundings.
